Benefit corporations are a new legal framework for doing business that allows companies to pursue both profit and mission. Benefit corporations are new—only two years old in Florida. B Corp Certified businesses are for-profit companies that undergo a rigorous certification process to ensure high standards are met regarding social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The B Corp movement is a massive global movement taking place in capitalism right now.
B Corp businesses pursue both profit and mission. Accenture, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Harvard Business School, McKinsey & Company, have provided data-driven case studies, global surveys, and research demonstrating that utilizing business as a force for good leads to more profitable businesses. The Zen Life Center, Inc. is the first martial art school, wellness center & life coaching facility in the world to be a fully registered Benefit Corporation with pending B-Corp Certification! Majority shareholder Dr. Sheila Rochefort-Hoehn invites you to attend this Power Group meeting to learn more about this exciting global movement in business and about her goal of inspiring the first fully certified B Corp plaza in the world.
